NHL

The NHL, or National Hockey League, is a professional ice hockey league composed of teams from the United States and Canada. Established in 1917, it is widely recognized as the premier men’s ice hockey league in the world. The NHL features 32 teams, split into two conferences: the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. Each conference is further divided into divisions. The league operates on a regular season basis, followed by a playoff tournament that culminates in the awarding of the Stanley Cup, one of the oldest and most prestigious trophies in professional sports. The NHL is known for its high level of competition, skilled players, and passionate fan base. In addition to the on-ice action, the league plays a significant role in promoting the sport of hockey and engaging with communities through various outreach programs.
