International Relations

International Relations (IR) refers to the study and practice of the relationships between countries and the interactions of political, economic, and social entities at a global level. It encompasses a wide range of activities such as diplomacy, trade, conflict, and international cooperation. The field examines how nations interact with one another, the role of international organizations (like the United Nations), the impact of globalization, and the influence of non-state actors. International Relations incorporates various theoretical perspectives, including realism, liberalism, and constructivism, to analyze issues such as war, peace, security, humanitarian interventions, and international law. It is an interdisciplinary field, drawing from political science, history, sociology, economics, and law to understand complex global dynamics.
